Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions below have been put in place to ensure a fair agreement between the tutor and the student, and to ensure our timetable can run smoothly and effectively. Please take a moment to read these. I are happy to answer any queries you may have.

1. Lessons
   1. Lessons are taught by myself, Manda Dorj, on a one-to-one basis.
   2. Lesson fees must be paid for upon booking, by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
   3. For Lessons carried out at the student's home, a quiet area must be provided and the student must not be distracted for the full duration of the Lesson.
   4. Lessons carried out at either of my studios will be in a similarly quiet, distraction-free environment, using my personal pianos.
2. Cancellations
   1. Lessons booked individually are non refundable if cancelled.
   2. Lessons booked individually can be rescheduled to a date within 7 days of the original Lesson - beyond this, the Lesson is considered cancelled.
3. Full term bookings
   1. The "full term bookings" are a set of 10 Lessons, taken within the same school term and paid in full in advance. I will work with you to schedule this set of Lessons around holidays, appointments etc.
   2. The terms work in line with the Borough of Westminster school term dates.
   3. All 10 individual Lessons must be taken by the start of the following term (i.e. missed Lessons do not roll over to the next term, but can be caught up during holidays if needed).
4. Exams
   1. Exam and music fees must be paid within one week of the tutor's request. Failure to do so may result in a student not being entered for their exam
